Yes, you are right. I’ve met some Chinese students who wrote to me that this library is only for them to take some pictures, not a place to read and study. Yes, good points! It looks like the books are painted on the shelves. Do you know anything about the Library where the adventure begins shirt history of Chinese literature? Or do you only care about books written by politicians? Holub devil’s books are not allowed. Because they will make people stumble after people read them. I thought it was a good thing they are painted on I hate to see one of them fall on someone or be the librarian that has to get a book from the top. Sorry buddy, but I do not agree. This is not freedom. Who is responsible for choosing the books that deserve to be burned?  I’m just saying that not all books are important and a lot are crap worthy of the fire. But it’s not filled with books. I’ve been there, the books are painted on metal, there are actually very few real books here. Yeah, like the Communist Party would ever allow the real books. The fire safety thing is a joke. Less of a threat in that building, than any other library anywhere. No surprise. Very well stated! I’ve met some Chinese students who wrote to me that this library is only for them to take some pictures, not a place to read and study. I the library feeling in this. The collection is huge, but it feels more architectural to me than a place to explore books, find peace. I read in a comment here somewhere that most books are painted on metal. So not even real. Daniel if with the architect they decided to not put books there must be a reason. How do they do to reach the books from the ceiling? With a ladder? Too dangerous. Same when there’s an earthquake. How do they prevent them from falling from the Library where the adventure begins shirt top? Too dangerous too. There are other rooms for books and study don’t worry. It is my dream to take a photo at that library but not to read a book. Amazing they could find that many Party approved books. I wonder how many are real? The fabulous building, but in China what are your options for reading material. Books are not for reading top layers only decoration, everything’s in China are not real.
